Bajo Cero

Suppression system for the production plant and warehouses

Completed project

The project

At Bajo Cero, a meat-packing plant specialized exclusively in producing and exporting premium frozen meats, we delivered the fire suppression system for its production facility, in an industrial environment with particularly demanding operating conditions.

Cold-storage plants pose specific challenges for fire engineering, due to multiple freezing chambers, extremely low temperatures, thermal insulation and environmental conditions that call for specially designed solutions.

ASBA was responsible for executing the suppression system, addressing the particularities of the different production areas and the constraints of a cold-storage facility serving the international market.

The project required reconciling fire protection with critical infrastructure where the cold chain, food safety and operational continuity are fundamental.

Added to this are the high quality and reliability standards demanded by a company whose production is destined entirely for export markets.

The planning and execution of the work had to minimize any interference with the plant's production processes and controlled conditions.

The result was a fire protection solution adapted to a complex industrial environment, aimed at protecting people, facilities, production and business continuity.

A project where specialized engineering and our ability to adapt to extreme operating conditions were decisive factors.
