Dana – Spicer Ejes Pesados
Suppression system for the production plant and warehouses
Completed projectThe project
At Dana – Spicer Ejes Pesados, a multinational auto-parts company supplying axles to the local and export automotive industry, we carried out a complete upgrade, modernization and expansion of its fire protection systems.
The scope covered the replacement and updating of existing installations, together with new suppression systems in areas that lacked the required protection.
Working for the auto-parts industry means meeting extremely high standards of quality, safety and operational compliance, typical of a highly demanding production chain.
In this sector, every supplier works in sync with the automotive terminals, and an interruption in supply can directly affect their production lines.
That is why one of the main challenges was executing a highly complex project without interfering with the plant's normal operation or compromising its production capacity.
Beyond the engineering, the project required extremely rigorous planning and logistics coordination, adapting each stage to the available production windows.
This meant organizing work at night, on weekends and in specially coordinated periods, minimizing any impact on operations.
The result was a renewed and expanded fire protection infrastructure, delivered to the reliability and quality standards demanded by the international automotive industry.
A project where engineering, planning and execution capability mattered as much as the technical solution itself.
